    Victoria, BC – Pinko Mayor Scorns Democracy!

    Group will protest John A. Macdonald statue removal

    Thanks be there are still sane citizens in that once-delightful city!

    0000000000000000

    I spent a while in Victoria, British Columbia, many years ago, a house guest of two elderly cousins.

    I’d taken a bus trip across the Dominion of Canada, partly to enjoy its varied beauties, but also to check out some of the many relatives who…

    …after my great3grandfather Joe sailed from County Londonderry, about 170 years ago, had spread across the country, playing their part in the creation of modern Canada.

    Those kindly old folks I stayed with have long since passed on, and better so, for they would be horrified were they to learn that only ONE Councillor in Victoria…

    Geoff Young

    ….a man who respects his constituents, named Geoff Young, opposed the pinko creep mayor’s crusade against a hero of Canada’s history.

    That Mayor, Lisa Helps, exemplifies the cancer that is eating away at Canada’s British North American heritage. Related: Watch the Committee of the Whole’s meeting here

    The Background

    Referring to the handful of culture-demolitionists who produced the hateful scheme, Cllr. Young said that they “have had ample opportunity to work through these issues, to discuss them –

    -but our citizens have not.

    Even some of the other councillors who voted for it said they still had concerns with the way the plan was presented to the public, and how fast the decision was made.

    Mayor Helps’ imbecilic comments about the statue, reported elsewhereJohn A. Macdonald statue ‘painful reminder’ of colonialism: Victoria, B.C. mayor suggest she is a far-left nutjob, and most certainly a dedicated enemy of democracy.

    Listen to the arrogant bint.

    Helps defended the lack of public consultation on the decision, saying it doesn’t fit in with the ultimate goal of reconciliation with First Nations.

    By First Nations she means the local Indian tribes, for those not into PC jargon.

    “The reason we’re not doing a big public consultation on the statue per se is it would become a debate about do we keep the statue or do we remove the statue?”

    Yes, that’s what’s called democracy, you blethering bint!

    That’s a concept your subversive sort despise, as you go on to make so very clear.

    That’s not the debate we want to have,” she said. “What we want to have is a conversation about how do we as a city and as a community have reconciliation in the city that’s built on the homelands of the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations…”

    Okay, Comrade Helps, if you own a house or a shop or an office built on the homelands of the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations, then give it back!

    If you’re so uptight about the fact that British people and the other Europeans who came to Canada, like old Joe and all my other ancestors, and turned it from a wilderness into the magnificent dominion…

    =

    =

    ….in which I count myself fortunate and proud to have been born, then why don’t you clean out your own bank account (not the city tax-payers’ funds, mind) and give all that you have to those Indians’ descendants, as compensation for what only your kind of creep, not normal Canadians, regard as a rip-off.

    DO NOT DISS Macdonald on a pinko whim – put your proposal to a municipal referendum and go door to door putting your case for destruction of the Dominion’s identity…

    =

    …then see how well you’ve done when the votes are counted.

      Thank you for your anger on our behalf. We need more anger against these leftwingers who hate democracy.
      The woman Lisa Helps makes that hatred clear, as plain as the nose on her arrogant face.
      The BC provincial goverment should step in and force her to give the people of Victoria a free vote on the statue and I am sure they would vote to keep it.
      But that will not happen because our politicians at all levels dont care about us or what we think.

      Victoria is still a pretty place with pretty nice people but I am damned if I can understand how they got such a non-nice mayor.

      The nutjobs were cheering when the statue got taken away. They make me sick.
      If they hate Canada so much, why not go live somewhere else?

      That woman and all her kind are a disgrace to Victoria, to BC and to Canada.
      Not that they got into power by magic. Voters put them there, so shame on the voters who let them remain there.

      Helps is like a maggot, eatijng away at the remains of what you and I remember as the Dominion of Canada.
      I was glad to see some people protesting at her anti-democratic action but the colleges and even the high schools have corrupted too many young minds, made them think pride in heritage is ignoble and that ‘diversity’ is infinitely desirable.
      Not much hope of recovery in our lifetimes.

    Ontario Teachers Talk Tripe On Sir John A MacDonald

    After yesterday’s brief expression of concern Which of Canada’s Statues Will Be First To Go?  that the nasty nutjobs in America might inspire extremist imitation in Canada, sure enough!

    Sir John A. Macdonald: Architect of genocide or Canada’s founding father?

    Hasil gambar untuk Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario

    A pack of pinko simpletons aka Ontario’s elementary school union says it wants schools to drop Macdonald’s name because he is the “architect of genocide against Indigenous People,”

    https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/2017/08/24/john-a-macdonald-schools-should-be-renamed-elementary-teachers-union.html

    =

    ==========

    As the Toronto Star report reminds us, Sir John founded Canada and is the man whose statue stands outside Parliament and the Ontario legislature, whose name is on major roads and the airport of the country’s capital, and whose face is on the $10 bill…

    But according to these leftist creeps, who, please don’t forget, are in charge of moulding the minds of your children and grandchildren, the Grand Old Man of Confederation is unworthy of being associated with children’s schools.

    ]

    Time these ignorant arrogant munchkins were fired, methinks.

    ]

    ]

    Who do they think they are?

    They do not seem to be aware that naming schools is not and should not be, any part of a teacher’s responsibilities.

    That role is the community’s, whether town council or city council or, arguably, in Ontario, the provincial parliament.

    [

    Obviously, such decisions should be subject to a democratic referendum, of citizens, or of parents. Certainly NOT of teachers, who are mere employees and should do as they’re told.

    Those teachers are paid to provide non-political education to youngsters and therefore their union should restrict its yapping to the usual whines about pay and conditions of employment.

    The report doesn’t say by how many votes the delegates passed their absurd motion.

    [

    [

    But its cultural marxist provenance is easily identified by the inclusion of the inevitable hysteria words unsafe space,‘ which in this paranoid case is apparently created by Sir John’s ‘namesake buildings’

    =

    These terrifying edifices allegedly contribute to problems ‘Indigenous’ kids encounter in school.

    ——

    Are these people of sound mind?

    Can they be trusted to hand out plasticine?

    =========

    If they want to play kindergarten pinko games, then they are free to join the Grits, or NDP.

    When posing as pedagogues, pipe down on politics.

      These ‘teachers’ where do the schools find them?
      Hiring maggots like these is crazy and parents have to go down to the school and get answers on what kind of sh-t the kids are getting spoonfed in history lesson.
      It is definitely NOT real Canadian history to insult the man we know was our first great prime minister.

      Canada was built by men like Macdonald and that should be the message in school history lessons.
      I think these ‘teachers’ do not want to makes Canadian kids proud of their country. .

      My God but how this litter of SOBs makes me mad with indignation.

      There was no Canada just forests and rivers for thousands of years until the English and French arrived around five centuries ago and started DOING something with the land.
      If the changes made since then are so bad then why dont these so-called teachers not find a jungle in the Amazon somewhere to live in?
      No statues to bother them but no ten dollar bills with Macdonald’s face to pay for their cappuccinos either and no stupid ETFO conferences where they get to run off at the mouth about fancy-pants communistic philosophy either.

      Goddam them!

      As a Scot, like Canada’s first Prime Minister, I respect however Canadians deal with controversies in their history.
      Even so, who’s to disagree with you that the decisions, on school names and statues and all those other things you wrote about, should be left to Canadians.

      By that I mean the people of Canada, little local decisions are theirs to take, by ballot. That right should and not be stolen from them by noisy extreme minorities.
      Saying all that, if we had teachers of such terrible quality in my country, and we do, I personally would fire the lot of them as unfit for purpose if they don’t understand the difference between teaching history and spreading political propaganda.

      I cannot believe this is happening in my lifetime.
      When I was at school we were told all about 1867 and confederation and Macdonald was a hero.
      Where did it all go wrong, where did the teachers like ours get replaced with these ass-holes?

      Next they are going to want to have that Turdo Senior on our dollar bills.
      I would like it if they put him on our toilet paper..
      You say the elementary teachers are ignorant but I think you are being too kind.
      When they went to school they probably had real history so they know what they are saying now is just a travesty of the truth.
      Our first Prime Ministers were great and miles better than either of the Turdos.
