Atrocities In Indonesia, Starbucks In NYC? Go Figure!

    Do you like lattes?

I’m a coffee addict and am fairly indiscriminate in what kind of caffeine product I pour down my throat, but I am no afficionado of lattes.

Nevertheless, I see no reason to be hostile to that innocuous drink, though naturally I do not frequent Starbucks…

Not Good Enough – Fire The Slimy Starbucks Slug!

Most of the people who read my blog will never buy anything at Starbucks, for more  than one good reason.

    View image on Twitter

After the disgraceful report last week, of some slimy barista kicking out cops from one of their Arizona outlets, because an unsavoury lout felt ‘uncomfortable’ at  the officers’ proximity…. https://www.theblaze.com/news/starbucks-apologizes-arizona-police-officers

…a huge public outcry arose, and the creepy management issued an ‘apology.’

    BUT ..

Not a word about firing their slimy pro-criminal employee.

I’d suggest a petition, but the plutocrat who runs the company is not really interested in what decent people think.

So let’s just renew our call for boycott…

and, if you’re keen, revisit my suggestion of how to minimise their profits, which you will find in one of my previous Starbucks posts.

And please be careful if you enter their premises.

Since they opened their toilets to undesirable free-loaders, there have been reports of serious risk to American non-drug users who may be ill-advised enough to enter.

I wouldn’t waste time or money on Starbucks, even if they weren’t far-left with a money-bags owner who fancies his chances as a presidential candidate!
You can find coffee at least as drinkable at many another place, at a better price!

      Hear hear!
Why would any person holding even moderately conservative opinions contribute to making this super-rich leftist even richer?
If the taste was in any way superior, maybe, but it’s no better than the packet stuff my auntie buys in the supermarket.
Before you ask, how do I know how Starbucks tastes, I have been in one of their branches with an old friend but I told him if that’s where he wanted to go, he’d be paying.
Over a very expensive cappucino I explained how Schultz is a pro-‘gay’ extremist and overly fond of ‘migrants’
My old friend had no idea and from then on he too has been boycotting Starbucks.

Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten your ploy, sit around during a busy time and tell staff youre waiting for somebody, so that actual paying customers can’t get a seat and go elsewhere!
But that strategy must now be obsolete, if they let junkies wander in and out without making any purchase.

I never understand what the big attraction of Starbucks is.
What Mack and Noreen say is true.
If the huge prices charged were going to line the pockets of a good populist nationalist who would recycle the money into good causes, like Brexit in Britain or MAGA in America, I would use Starbucks now and then.
Or I might have before they opened up their facilities to dopers and dossers.

    Starbucks Sucks! Blatant Sectarian Discrimination!

Those of us who believe in freedom of religion, as I do, believe the principle applies to adherents of any religion, Protestant, Catholic, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist – whatever.
The principle must equally apply to people who have the guts to convert into, or out of, any creed whatsoever.

I don’t mean the sad individuals who change religion to kowtow to bigoted prospective in-laws.
I’m talking about those who actually THINK about this life and what it’s all about. And what comes after this life, if anything.
Some people even keep thinking and change back, or try another path to truth.

Good on them. if God gives you a brain, use it!

An honest apostate is to be admired, not abused.

Hence my disgust yesterday when I read about Starbucks, a company I have no time for, for various reasons, and not simply because I think their coffee is over-rated.
Their fanatical support for the redefinition of marriage was bad enough, but there was, too, their absurd appeasement in the famous case of two free-loaders who used a Starbucks branch as a place to hang out but did not wish to make a purchase, then played the weary race card when given the bum’s rush.

Starbucks crawled on its corporate belly, shut out honest customers for a whole day in every one of the 51 states, subjecting staff to imbecilic ‘anti-discrimination’ garbage.
Or as I noted in a previous post, should we maybe say ‘anti-police’ garbage?

“The training materials focused a lot on police brutality, which had nothing to do with the incident that happened…”

Starbucks‘ anti-bias training may serve up more harm than good

…and the Far-Left big boss wants to run for President of the USA?

    Gambar terkait

Howard Schultz said at their annual meeting “If you support traditional marriage, we don’t want your business…” Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz just said… – Boycott Liberal Hollywood …

But now it’s reliably reported, with video to confirm the report, that in at least one Starbucks, a policy of vicious sectarian discrimination is in place, with inoffensive customers ejected because they were wearing – guess what?
    T-shirts that said –
“I’m an Ex-Muslim, Ask Me Why?”

Here’s part of the report, but use that link to watch the pompous oaf ordering them out AND whining about being filmed.

The victims of Starbucks’religious inquisition were members of EXMNA, Ex-Muslims of North America, peaceful, law-abiding young apostates who had been‘handing out flyers and speaking with and interviewing attendees at the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA)’s annual conference.’
They were not in the coffee-shop to disturb other patrons, but simply to have a coffee.
‘Without warning, they were informed by staff that they must leave the establishment.

“I was surprised. I was simply drinking my iced coffee and scrolling through my phone, and they told me I needed to leave, so I asked why”, says Lina an ex-Muslim Syrian woman who had traveled to the conference on behalf of EXMNA.
“I was told that they are not allowing protestors at the property, I assured the woman that I was not a protestor. She then asked me if I was part of the event or a guest at the hotel. I was neither.
“I was then told that even though I was a paying customer, I was not allowed to be on the premise as it was reserved for guests and event members for the weekend and that they will not be allowing anyone else on their private property.
“However, I noticed the Starbucks was still open to the public and I didn’t see anyone else being asked to leave.”

    That’s a damn disgrace.
Of course any vendor should have the right to refuse service to anyone whomsoever, but the issue here is not if they had the right, but why they chose to exercise it against these perfectly respectable and responsible young apostates.
Any cafe or resto or shop should be proud and pleased to serve youngsters mature enough to make adult decisions about the great questions that we all must from time to time ponder.

Nobody is going to disagree with what you say on this but most of my conservative friends already boycott Starbucks.
Maybe now my libertarian friends will now join the boycott.
I hope their policy of letting bums sit around all day without buying anything will gradually drive all honest customers away and then they’d go bankrupt.
We also need to step up the boycott of Nike.
Are you writing about their latest stupdity?

    • Vanessa R 23:17 on September 4, 2018 Permalink | Reply

Compared to how ex-muslims are persecuted in savage Islamist countries, being ejected from a place that sells boring coffee is not such a terrible fate.
      But it is shocking.
I never use any Starbucks, but beyond a boycott, are there not other ways to reduce profits?
Some far-lefts caused big problems in a London restaurant by introducing cockroaches and other insects.
That kind of tactic does not have to remain a monopoly of the left, does it?

    • Bart Barles 01:11 on September 5, 2018 Permalink | Reply

Boycott is a good idea but we conservatives already boycott.
So I have been thinking about this.
We should all go in there and demonstrate noisily and peacefully every day, at lunchtime or whenever Starbucks has its busiest time.
When asked to leave we should leave peacefully.
Very soon only the free-loaders and the dedicated left-wing will continue to go there at lunch-time because most people do not want to eat lunch while noisy protests go on.
Starbucks may take out court orders against individuals to keep us out but if we do it in relays, only a dozen protesters at a time?
That way we can keep the ruckus going for weeks.

What a totally rotten scene to watch.
That man ordering them out is reaaly and truly ashamed by what he’s doing, the way he tries to make them turn off their camera.
Why shouldnt they show their beliefs on their t-shirts? What can people not say on t-shirts?
I see plenty of crazies wearing Che Guevara t-shirts. That is offensive.
      Would Starbucks ban them too?

I must agree that Starbucks coffee is totally insipid. The first time I drank some, I returned the cup as I thought there was something wrong with the drink. So they gave me another one which tasted just as bad. I did not try again. I love coffee but it must not taste like dishwasher! As to their political statement, they must make more of them as they pee off more and more people. The worse it gets, the better!

Boycott A La Carte? Fatuous Facebook Trump-Foes!

We often recommend boycotts. They can be an effective method of protest, if enough people join in.

At the same time, boycotting should not be an exercise in masochism.

For example, if you are desperately thirsty, out on one of our extremely hot Jakarta arvos, with only one vendor handy, and he’s only offering Budweiser, it would be silly not to slake your thirst, even though Budweiser does not deserve your custom.

Another Item For Your Boycott List – Dud Bud!

Keeling over on a broken Jakarta pavement due to dehydration is not a wise way to advance one’s cause. Boycotting is meant to hurt the target, not yourself.

Similarly, Starbucks should be avoided for all manner of good reasons, not only their campaign for the ghastly absurdity of ‘gay’ marriage…

Jangan Ke Starbucks Lagi! Tolak ‘Gay’ Marriage! (Bahasa Inggris/Bahasa Indonesia)

…but now also for their anti-Trump antics, declaring they’ll recruit 10,000 ‘refugees’ – no mention of hiring 10,000 deserving vets, please note.

But if you can derive some benefit from Starbucks – as I did this very week, occupying one of their chairs outside one of their branches, no coffee ordered, just sitting there, with a book and a cigarette…

…thus by mere inertia preventing potential paying customers from contributing to the company’s coffers!

No doubt more creative conservatives can think of other tactics and strategies.

    Good thinking, Boy Wonder!

So what are we to make of the fatuous Facebook dorks, collective knickers in a twist about President Trump’s executive orders.

They have taken a pledge to either refrain from flying over the next few months, or at least travel by air less often….   http://dailycaller.com/2017/02/04/facebook-employees-are-boycotting-flying-over-trumps-immigration-ban/

There are a few options for the boycott, including reducing one’s flying by 10 percent, moving or canceling one planned trip, or abstaining all together

Now this is NOT work-related flights we’re talking about. You fly if your boss tells you to.

This is their own leisure travel!.

What they’re saying is like saying I’m pledging not to eat meat –  or at least just eat steak!

Your post today that talked about those bums in California who got kicked out of Starbucks for refusing to order anything?
It jogged my memory so I went back over a year and there you are confessing to the same misdeed.
I get that you were enjoying a little counter-action/inertia against an institution that has taken the other side in the culture wars but you were lucky that Indonesians are more easy-going ( I have spent a lot of time there) than Californians, so nobody ordered you out.
Key question is, If you had been, would you have created a huge uproar?
No, of course not and neither would I and that makes your point.
Only ‘the permanently offended’ with great big chips on their shoulders behave like those two in America.

I am skeptical about boycotts and not inclined to discomfort myself when nobody will even notice the loss of the tiny sum my custom represents.
Never the less, I do feel offended at Starbucks for that pointless day-long closure.
Shutting their doors to regulars for such a dopey reason? A business like that doesn’t deserve to have loyal patrons.
