Machetes? Swords? Another ‘Virus Amnesty’ Thug!

Just a quick glance through local media this morning, and lo, another brute captured by cops ( in Sumatra again) after a violent gang robbery.

The police acted quickly to get the scumbags, who had  attacked a man to steal his motor-bike.

Machete.Vector cartoon illustration isolated on white background. Stock Vector - 142943081
    ooooooo

Not only was the recidivist quickly tracked down and detained, but even better, they shot dead one of his accomplices who was resisting arrest, using a machete... .

Use the link for the whole story, machetes, samurai swords, the lot!

Another of the gang has also been apprehended.

It would be a tough task to round up all the convicts set free because of the Chinese Virus, but one hopes no more dangerous beasts are going to be uncaged.

    .

    .

If crowded cells are deemed a problem, then a lot of honest Indonesian citizens would likely suggest that a better ‘emergency measure’ policy, not perhaps what some media like to bray about as the ‘new normal…’

….but a certain deterrent, would be to use firing squads, capital punishment for all those convicted of violent crimes, like armed robbery or terrorism.

‘Virus Amnesty’ – Rape Again In Sumatra, And Murder!

While the total number of prison inmates and illegal aliens released under ‘virus amnesties’ around the world is not known, there’s an urgent need to start counting the cost of this folly, one victim of which we wrote about last week…

…reported here in Indonesia, in North Sumatra Province, in Deli Serdang, where, as detik.com tells us, a 21-year-old woman ’was found dead in a pathetic condition.

    .

    …..

The rape, mutilation and murder of this latest victim, by not one but TWO men released early from prison under the so-called ‘assimilation program’ make grim reading…

    .

    ..

…and I leave it to you to use the Indonesian link, which has an English-language option, if you wish.

However, I continue to wonder how many other innocent people, all over the world…

Police say only a few amnesty criminal attacks but that is only what is reported.
And only a few people chopped or robbed is a few who would not be hurt if the criminal attackers still in prison.

Indonesia may have let out some bad dudes but it’s sad to admit that Illinois in the USA has released monsters.

Steven Haberkorn, 31-years-old, is one of the child sex abusers who was allowed to parole out of prison on March 2. Around 2011, Haberkorn was convicted of predatory criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
At the time of the incident, Haberkorn was 21 years old and his victim was nine years old.
Gustavo Covarrubias, a 59-year-old child sex abuser, was also allowed to parole out of prison on March 24. Around 2014, Covarrubias was convicted of predatory criminal sexual assault. At the time of the incident, Covarrubias was 53 years old and his victim was 11 years old.
Likewise, 47-year-old Charles Shumard was allowed to parole out of prison on March 9. Around 2016, Shumard was convicted of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. At the time of the incident, Shumard was 43 years old and his victim was 15 years old.

Indonesia Confronts Crisis, Sectarian Kill-Joys Carry On!

In Sumatra, last week, the cops were busily ‘investigating’ an amateur comedy video which has got a pack of kill-joy uptights…

In the video, R Hidayat alias Aleh, who was arrested by a police officer, claimed that what he had made was only for fun and there was no intention of harassment..

Now the lad is waiting to see if the cops’ investigation results in him doing time, after the kill-joys’ complaints!

Indonesia is facing a fearsome health crisis, with the risk of major unrest.

Body Parts Of Tiny Tots? Evil Islamist Kills Her Own Kids!

    Evil is what evil does?

    =

What kind of woman would blow up her own children?

Perhaps ‘demoness’ might be a more appropriate word to apply to the creature in the house in Sibolga, North Sumatra last week. The Jakarta Globe headline sums up the story…

Wife of Terror Suspect Blows Herself Up and Her Children in Sibolga

..about ‘an Indonesian woman with affiliations to the Islamic State‘

    https://jakartaglobe.id/context/wife-of-terror-suspect-blows-herself-up-and-her-children-in-sibolga

The horrific crime took place after Densus 88 – the special anti-terror unit of  the Indonesian police – had captured 3 suspected jihadists

The creature’s husband, ‘Husain, aka Abu Hamzah,‘ was one of those detained, but even he joined in a ten-hour effort by the good guys to get the foul vixen to surrender – that was after she threw a bomb as they approached the terror lair, which wounded one cop and a neighbour too.

Husain is an expert at making bombs and recruiting new members [to his terrorist network], but it was his wife who was the real ideologue,” according to a police spokesman.“Husain’s wife has always been much more militant than himself…,”

It’s one thing to be ‘militant.’

If she had blown only herself up, fine. One more down, plenty more to go!

    Valentines Targetted By Indonesian Kill-Joys

Sumatra Crimmigrants Re-Branded As ‘Refugees?’ Why, Jakarta Post!

The Indonesian Navy has thwarted an attempt to smuggle eight Somali citizens using an Indonesian boat from Malaysia through Bagan Asahan waters in North Sumatra.   http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2017/04/30/indonesia-foils-smuggling-of-somali-refugees-from-malaysia.html

That’s likely true enough, but  how does the Jakarta Post headline the story?

Indonesia foils smuggling of Somali refugees from Malaysia

    ……..

Oh, really? Was the crimmigrant incursion really ‘thwarted?’ If the word has any meaning, it means the crimmigrants were prevented from entering Indonesia.

    Were they?

Bapak Agung Samporno, of the Directorate General of Immigration at the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, says the captain and crew had jumped into the mangrove forest carrying the passports of eight Somali refugees who had allegedly come from Malaysia.

So did Pak Agung say the detainees included the illegal passengers? Were all those detained promptly sent back to Malaysia?

It doesn’t sound like it! And how has he determined the crimmigrants are ‘refugees?’ Can serious vetting be completed so speedily?

If you peruse the entire JP report from top to bottom, you’ll find not a jot of evidence that the persons on the vessel were ‘refugees.

Is the JP staffed by psychics?

We should not blame the reporter. After all, they don’t dream up the headlines, as a rule. That’s up to the editorial staff.

So did some editorial fatwa get handed down, that all stray Somalis found sneaking into Indonesia MUST be presented to readers as poor, pitiful ‘refugees?’

    It’s a pattern long-established in other countries.

    ===========

At some point he asked his boss why the reporters kept labelling immigrants as refugees when it was evident that they were not.

    ….

My boss informed me that immigrants are weak and that it is therefore the obligation of TV-journalists to be on their side. Immigrants had to be presented as so pitiful that viewers would weep.”   http://www.rightsidenews.com/editorial/world-opinion-and-editorial/the-free-press-comes-to-swede

Is the author of this Jakarta Post headline Swedish, perhaps? Has the Swedish disease spread to Jakarta?

Or it just typical Jakarta Post journalism?

There are some people born in Somalia who can accurately be described as refugees.

    ====

    Hirsi

    =

Think of one Somali-born woman who in fact is downright heroic, the brave and wise Ayaan Hirsi Ali, who has been subjected to death threats by sectarian savages for her warnings to Western countries.

There are also lots of other Somalis who go abroad who can accurately be described in other ways, for example : –

An 18-year-old Somali man has been arrested for breaking into a hospital and trying to sexually assault a female patient. Man arrested after attempted hospital sex attack

Or those described here, detained in connection with terrorist offences.  Minnesota’s 5th Amendment 5th Column – History Repeats Itself?

Or this Somali trio? One of 3 men accused in Portland beating death pleads guilty

Or this?  Somalian migrant Marke Abdulah Ahmad, who was on the boat, also said the asylum seekers were subject to abuse. “We were tortured and inhumanely treated by the Australian military..”  Asylum Seekers Allege Mistreatment by Australian Navy

Or those mentioned here – UK’s ‘Asylum’ Undesirables – Back to Somalia Soon?

    ====================

We could go on and on, and the list of course wouldn’t prove that most Somali illegals are dangerous. I’d say most are economic migrants.

True, their country’s not nice to live in, given the vicious religious intolerance –

Somalia has officially banned Christmas and New Years celebrations

Government claims that such festivities will threaten Islamic culture

    Gambar terkait

Mohamed Khayrow, director general of Somalia’s Ministry of Religious Affairs, stated that Christmas celebrations could “could damage the faith of the Muslim community.”.http://www.newstalk.com/Somalia-have-officially-banned-Christmas-and-New-Years-celebrations

…but if such brutal bigotry were the litmus test for refugee status, how many Pakistanis too could register a claim, or any other nationality in the clammy grip of shariah law.

    =====

    Meanwhile, Australians should pay heed.

    =

    =

Pak Agung reminds us that “Indonesia is located between a refugee-receiving country, Malaysia, and a country that has ratified the UN convention on refugees, Australia….,”

    =

So these phoney ‘refugees’ – PHONEY because they were already in Malaysia, so moving to Indonesia shows they’re not seeking a safe refuge, just a a cushier berth – are actually aiming for Oz, more snouts nuzzling at the tax-payer trough.

    Anyway, the point remains.

Media misrepresentation of migrants, as in the Jakarta Post, does not do real refugees any sort of service. Indeed, it wasn’t THAT long ago that the JP provided a platform for a far-left female Indonesian to attack Hirsi Ali.

An Unspeakable Woman – And An Unspeakable Newspaper!

There must be a measure of animosity towards victims of Islamist evil in its corridors

I doubt we’ll see a change in style any time soon, any more than the JP will ever apologise for its gutless editors’ failure to condemn the Nazi-style book-burning in which its Gramedia parent company collaborated with the most extreme Islamist factions in Indonesia.

    . Does what does Yo-Ho!

Good work, Indonesian Navy, who have presented the crimmigrants’ passports to the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, and a photo of said passports tops the Jakarta Post report today.

But the Directorate spokesman told the media that the captain and crew had jumped into the mangrove forest carrying the passports of eight Somali refugees who had allegedly come from Malaysia.

But where are the Somali crimmigrants?

If the villains who were transporting them were rounded up, okay, but what about the illegal immigrants who constituted their cargo?

The logical inference is that they too were taken, but if they are now being detained in Sumatra, then their illicit incursion was not actually foiled, as the headline says. They are not back in Malaysia.

Or are they? Or are they just being held pending deportation?

    They musts their ere  ,Did

But it’s instructive, so here it is.

My headline refers to Sumatra, but the nightmarish outbreak of sectarian violence in Tanjung Balai Tanjung Balai’s Burning Temples – A History of Bigotry!  is in a different part of that island from Deli Serdang, where ignoramuses have got the Islamist local government pandering to their worst sectarian prejudices.

It’s a campaign to stamp out local eateries run by the Karo people, eateries that specialise in pork.

But you can judge the sort of bone-headed mentality in Deli just by reading this quote from one of the nasty little agitators in the Jakarta Post report, a jerk named Ibnu Hajar.

    bpk\

    ===========

    • He declared that the presence of the BPK eateries along that section of the highway was very disturbing to him because the majority of people living in the area were Muslims.

    SO?

What’s ‘disturbing’ about the fact some people have different dietary inclinations from you? Never mind that the Karo people are the ethnic group that was there first.

The halal whiners are new-comers, or the spawn thereof, pushy gits, laying down the law on those who, in terms of identity with the territory, are their elders and – given the halal whiners’ arrogance – their betters, too.

Can’t these whiners just grow up, live and let live, get a life, the way civilised people do?

I don’t object to folks eating halal in my neighbourhood, or at the table next to mine in a resto, so why should schmucks like Ibnu object to people who prefer pork to whatever he shoves down his gob?

Oh, but he’s so tolerant, really.

Ibnu said that they would not ban anyone from selling foods like BPK, but the sellers had to pay attention to their locations. “Don’t sell non-halal foods like BPK in a Muslim neighborhood because it is not good…”

    What backward, benighted bigotry!

Pork IS good! Eating it IS good. Selling it to those who want to buy it IS good.

    kissing_pigs

Nobody is forcing Ibnu or his fellow-whiners to eat it.

NOBODY has to like it, eat it or buy it or sell it, UNLESS they choose.

But freedom to choose is anathema to the likes of Ibnu. Everyone in the vicinity has to toe the line, bow and scrape to ignoramuses who lack the mental capacity to grasp the simplest aspects of pluralism.

I don’t want to force-feed the Ibnus of this world with pork, but I do think they need to be force-fed some crumbs of the pluralism that Indonesia’s supposed to be about.

And sadly there are LOADS of Ibnus up there, hundreds of people from different Islamic organizations, who rallied to demand  the closure of all the BPK eateries including the famous BPK Tesalonika that has a prominent location on the trans-Sumatra highway at Kilometer 29. They also urged the regency administration to act quickly to close them down.

    Nasty sectarians rally against eateries

Now you expect that sort of malignant behaviour from the IslamoNazis, and the JP reports that the FPI white-shirt thug gang were indeed involved.

But should we expect ‘moderate’ Muslims to be spouting this kind of hateful hogwash too?

Alas, we must, because Ibnu is identified as not only the protest coordinator but also the chairman of Muhammadiyah’s Deli Serdang branch..

    muhammadiyah

    ——-,

New readers overseas may not now that Muhammadiyah is one of the largest mass-membership Muslim outfits in the Indonesian archipelago. And it is always depicted in the media as ‘moderate.’

Not on our blog it won’t be, not after this.

Not unless they expel Ibnu Hajar.

    • If they don’t dissociate themselves from his sort of intolerant fanaticism, then they are simply exacerbating the ‘Islamophobia’ which his conduct and those of that mosque mob in Tanjung Balai incite.

I will let you read the linked article for yourselves.

You can marvel at how the bureaucrats in Deli seek to rationalise their oppressive conduct by means of disseminating “appeals” to all the managements of BPK eateries or eateries selling other non-halal foods to replace their current menus with halal ones.

This of course is not sectarian!

    All perfectly pluralist!

To the extent that one pathetic puke in the local government is quoted viz. –“Thank God, almost 50 percent of them have replaced their menus with halal foods.”   http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2016/07/29/traditional-karo-eateries-targeted-muslim-groups.html

What’s so shocking  is the authority is so overtly in bed with bigotry.

I had heard that President Jokowi’s government was going through local bye-laws to weed out sectarian shariah stuff and any similar drivel.

Surely central government intervention is urgently required in Deli.

Tanjung Balai’s Burning Temples – A History of Bigotry!

Indonesian authorities detained seven suspects in northern Sumatra Island on Saturday for allegedly attacking several Buddhist temples.

Indonesia: Police detains 7 after attacks on Buddhist temples

A spokeswoman for the North Sumatra provincial police said the suspects were a part of a mob that damaged at least three temples in Tanjung Balai town, near Medan, the fourth-biggest city of Indonesia…

But the police said the attack was not aimed at the Chinese community. “This was just a (dispute between) individuals…”

And so it may have been.

But local reports say the police repeatedly called on the nasty rabble to disperse but incitement on ‘social media’ brought the malignants back.

    buddha-statue A statue that tells a story

    .

Before anyone draws conclusions, let’s remind ourselves of the history of vicious Islamist sectarian bigotry focused on a Buddhist statue in Tanjung Balai.

Indonesia Inquisition Ministry Turns Guns Against Buddhists – Statue Downed at Islamist Behest

That outrageous episode took place, of course, more than five years ago, and we have a different President and, thank God, a very different Minister of Religious Affairs.

    ooo

Once the pig-ignorant savages who committed this latest blasphemous arson are dealt with, perhaps President Jokowi could demonstrate his commitment to the pluralism he often preaches by restoring that statue in our photo to pride of place in Tanjung Balai?

And perhaps Minister Lukman could atone for his predecessor’s shortcomings by going up thee to unveil it personally.

      Thanks for that, Ross
I remember your previous piece about that statue and thats why I am very dubious about the police claim its just a squabble between individuals.
The racket from mosques is bad enough but when they turn violent against people forced to complain about the loud droning, there is no way its a personal squabble.
The government and police dont like this real picture getting out to the world.
      Keep up the good work.

I never knew about how bitterly bigoted these Muslim mobs are against Buddhists.
I thought it was just Christians who got persecuted, like those poor people you have shown us in West Java.
I only look in on your blog now and then so I must have missed this before now.
