Toronto District School Board Smears Muslims!

    SO! ….

…..a Canadian school board recently caused an uproar after it withdrew support for an event featuring Yazidi activist, former Islamic State (ISIS) sex slave, and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Nadia Murad out of concern it could foster “Islamophobia” and “offend” Muslim students.

    https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2021/11/28/canada-school-board-cancels-event-yazidi-nobel-laureate-former-isis-sex-slave-islamophobia-fears/

Well, it’s not just ANY Canadian school board, it’s the foul leftist rat’s nest called the Toronto District School Board…

…has been rightly condemned, the angriest condemnation of TDSB’s slur should come from Muslims, all of whom the TDSB has, by its decision, equated with the satanic ISIS rape gang.

After all, if the TDSB says it’s protecting Muslims from ‘offence’ by preventing the lady’s denunciation of ISIS, the TDSB is suggesting very clearly that ISIS must be dear to Muslim hearts.

WHICH IT IS NOT, and I say that because I live in a 90% Muslim city and often enjoy the company of pleasant people who happen to be Muslim.

Only a minority of rabid primitives here have any sympathy with ISIS.

So thanks be for Tarek Fateh…

…but that’s not my purpose today.

Thing is, in this 90% Muslim country, Jokowi has picked a Christian, a Catholic, to be precise, and that has caused a lot of comment.

What I’d like to look at is an article in Tempo by the Director of the Indonesia Intelligence Institute, Ridlwan Habib.

He says there are three groups hostile to the appointment, one of which fears his reputation as an honest cop, who would enforce the law strictly and indiscriminately.

Another is an intolerant group that plays the narrative of SARA. SARA here in Indonesia is an acronym that means playing on the differences between Indonesia’s many ethnic and religious groups to incite discord.

The third group consists of JI, JAD, and pro-ISIS factions, such as MIT. They justify taking the lives of police because they are considered ‘thaghut..’ “

    https://nasional.tempo.co/read/1423769/wadah-pegawai-kpk-nilai-calon-kapolri-listyo-sigit-prabowo-sosok-reformis

Thatghut basically means ‘heathen,’ and, to savage scum like the terror gangs mentioned, it’s open season on anyone who’s ‘heathen!’

Obviously, that third group is a clear and present danger, but I find the second category more noisome.

    =

    =

Why on earth would anyone worry about how a cop worships God?

It’s firstly nobody’s business but his own, but if, as seems to be the case, he’s a good cop, he deserves the job, be he Catholic, Protestant, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist or Confucian – those are Indonesia’s recognised creeds.

I’d say even if a man – or woman – were none of those, if he or she’s qualified, let him or her get on with it.

To any Islamopohobes who take issue, let me put forward a Canadian hypothesis.

Suppose you’re asked who you’d prefer a Prime Minister of Canada?

    Two hypothetical choices.

One, the current incumbent, Pretty Boy Turdo….

….with his vile record of seeking excuses for dirty terrorist swine like the Boston Marathon Bombers…

…or Tarek Fateh, the best kind of Canadian!

    Ford’s Folly, Dodgy Dunick…Tarek Fateh’s Wise Warning!

Ignore a warning once and you’re unwise. Ignore it twice and you deserve all you get.

    =

My interest in the problem that afflicts Canada is spurred by thoughts of Dominion Day…

    =

    …which falls today.

Yes, I still call it Dominion Day and am digging out my Red Ensign t-shirt in readiness for celebrating it.

    =

Yes, America has Independence Day! France has Bastille Day! And for 115 years — through two World Wars, the Korean conflict, and our early United Nations peacekeeping missions — Canada had Dominion Day.

But in July 1982, on a Friday afternoon with only 13 Members of Parliament sitting in session, on the last day before the summer recess, the government moved to change the name of our National Day and its celebration to “Canada Day”. Unimaginative some say — as banal as “America Day”, “France Day” or “Britain Day”   http://mapleleafup.ca/dominion.html

    =

It’s my way, in the far-off tropical climes of Indonesia, of reasserting the survival of the real Canadian identity I was raised with, loyalty to Queen and Country, a country that was a beacon of true Western values, which of course included the right to say what one thinks…

    =

    =

…no matter if some sad little twit feels my views are ‘inappropriate’ nor if some fanatical alien is ‘offended.’

The inability or unwillingness for the liberal elite to present a coherent defence of their illiberal intolerance of free speech – specifically on the issue of the sectarian threat – is powerfully exemplified by this burping bark from one of its enforcers when challenged to justify his despicable betrayal of honest journalism.

“Dude, we talked to her. She admitted she said it, but added it was taken out of context. Move on.”

First of all, he must renounce jihad and the application of jihad and sharia law.”

    oooooooooooo

Tarek had had the temerity politely to approach Dunick, asking him ‘where Ayette had mentioned the words “Islam” or “Muslims.”

    Background

Lying Leith told his readers that Anne Ayette was fired for posting “anti-Muslim statements published on her Twitter account.”

    NOT TRUE. She didn’t!

Anne was on the campaign staff of the Progressive Conservative candidate in Kiiwetinoong, in Northern Ontario, until she was purged by a politically-correct puke…

    =

….evidently acting in collusion with Doug Ford (and that purge was one of the reasons I made no effort to utter pre-election praise for Ford, albeit he is a better politician than the lesbian liberal Wynne, whom he has recently replaced as Ontario’s Premier)

    =

    =

Anne’s ‘crime’ was to re-tweet approvingly a Tarek-tweet, concerning not the religion of Islam but the menace of ISLAMISM, the sectarian ideology I referred to above.

Anne hadn’t, of course, mentioned the words “Islam” or “Muslims.”

Yet Dunick’s standards of journalism are so sloppy, or his character so craven…

    =

    =

…that he didn’t hesitate to misrepresent her viciously in his lousy little newspaper.

I let the good Muslim patriot’s final paragraph speak for itself, and for many of us here – not just foreigners like me but honest decent Muslims too- who live in Indonesia, the world’s largest Muslim-majority country.

If criticism and repudiation of Islamism  as opposed to Islam and Muslims, in general  is a punishable offence, deserving being fired without a hearing under a Doug Ford government, then heaven help us all.

The Jakarta Post’s Horrible Hate Headline!

    ahok Governor Ahok

By the way … Ahok deserves both hate and adoration

    ————–
I have to say, the Jakarta Post must be one of the most irksome newspapers in Indonesia
My conclusion arises from the latest opinion piece, last Saturday, by its veteran big-shot Kornelius Purba…
    —-
    kornelius-purba Kornelius Purba
….a disturbing outburst, based on his  recent chat with an intolerant Islamist crony, whose bitter hostility to Jakarta’s popular Governor Ahok is variously attributed to his race, his religion and his ‘big mouth.’ These short-comings, it seems, mean that Ahok ‘deserves hate.’
Taking the last excuse first, it’s fair to say that Ahok, unlike so many mealy-mouthed notables here, doesn’t mince his words.
Fanatic Islamist Wails At Christian Governor – “He Calls People Names!”
How often do we read police chiefs saying they want to prevent ‘unwanted things,’ when they mean mayhem by sectarian thug gangs?
How often do we read journalists talk about ‘certain groups’ or even ‘a certain religion,’ rather than name the likely source of likely whining or worse?
    ———–
Too often, my own conversations with local people on this topic get responses like ‘it’s the Javanese non-confrontational habit.’
     ——————
But it seems Pak Kornelius’ fanatic friend ( a fan of the extremist PKS pro-shariah party, whose erstwhile leader penned an infamous paean of adoration to jihadist mass-murderer Osama Bin Laden)…
        https://rossrightangle.wordpress.com/2011/07/06/brits-banned-michael-savage-but-let-in-top-jakarta-islamist-author-of-odious-ode-to-911-mass-murderer/
…doesn’t mince words about the man he loathes for being a Chinese ethnic ‘infidel’  (that means Christian, BTW – Kornelius is one of those but maybe he’s an exception to his friend’s hate-rule)
    ———-
Okay, it’s more than fair to hate some people.
    adams_128183a_1
Gerry Adams, the Sinn Fein/IRA terrorist leader, should be hated by all decent people. Terror Gang Leader Adams, Complicit in Child Molesting – ‘A Man Sent by God?’
But for our JP king-pin’s pal, mereIy the colour of Ahok’s skin and the way he worships God are sufficient grounds.
Of course Ahok makes mistakes, and I haven’t hesitated to say so…

”Outrageous” Activity in Jakarta Pools? OMG – BIKINIS!

…so I can hardly say I ‘love’ him. But only neanderthal nitwits could possibly ‘hate’ him.

Jakarta Jew-Haters Boo Chinese Christian Candidate

How can the JP’s KP seriously assert that his racist and bigoted  companion’s ‘stance is valid..?’
    Unbelievable!
Here’s a quote from the Dark Ager whom Kornelius likes to hang out with.
“To be honest with you, my faith forbids me from tolerating such a person…”
    ———–
    islamophobia-21
    …………………

That’s the kind of crap that encourages people to support Trump’s ban-all-Muslims call – which I personally don’t, you may recall.

It’s loyalty and principles that matter, not ethnicity or creed. For example, I detest the white and allegedly Christian Justin Turdo….

    ————

    JustinTrudeau

Canada’s Enemy Within – Will Turdeau “Have To Look at The Root Causes?”

….and if the ( improbable) chance ever arose, I’d see him replaced overnight with the patriot Canadian Muslim Tarek Fateh, who admirably declared, on the question of talking to Killer Khadr.

    – First of all, he must renounce jihad and the application of jihad and sharia law.”  .

    ——-

    TarekTarek Fateh

A Muslim Voice of Reason – Khadr May Return, IF………!!!!

    ————

The thing is, even KP’s buddy admits Ahok offers clean government (and clean rivers!) yet he would likely continue to dislike Ahok… – just because he looks different, worships differently and says what he really thinks when he witnesses sloth, corruption or religious persecution.

Kornelius Purba ought to be ashamed of himself. He should be condemning his pal’s vicious and venomous views.

But then I have yet to see him publish a word of condemnation of his Jakarta Post’s parent company, Gramedia, notorious collaborators with the worst Islamist intolerants in Indonesia.

    PS

The last time Pak Kornelius merited mention here on RRA, it was, by curious coincidence, when he threw the H word around a couple of years ago…

Jakarta Post ‘s “Thousand Reasons to Hate Australia!”

…and he was gracious enough to comment and say that he actually didn’t ‘hate’ Australia, quite the contrary. He also invited me to drop in to his HQ for a chat, which didn’t happen due to no fault on his part or mine.

However, this time he’s described in detail a real hater, so I’ll be interested to see if he comments again.

Sun-bathing today, but now and then coming indoors to watch CNN and its extended coverage of Islaimst terrorism in Europe. They just had Ed Husain, who was described as part of the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, but that doesn’t make Ed a liar – to suggest such a thing would be to impute guilt by association.

    ———–

    ————-

I’ve heard of Husain and sometimes he’s talked sense.

But today he’s sticking his nose into American electoral politics, which I do too, of course, but he was talking a lot of rot, unlike Yours Truly.

He actually said that mosques were the wrong place to look for dangerous fanatics.

    This amazed me.

There are many mosques around the Western world which have maintained an eerie silence on calls to murder innocent people, which have declined to condemn demands that ‘blasphemers’ be slain, or ‘apostates’ put to death.

Demonic, Dark Ages stuff, the very dangerous doctrines that characterise ISIS .

Some mosques. like Grimhoj, in Denmark, have been the scene of open incitement.

    —————–

Responsible mosques would surely have banned scum like the above from worshipping on their premises.  Those who do not denounce evil are damn near as guilty as those who perpetrate it.

But rather than merely expostulate on demonic dogma, I did a quick search on terror links, and here’s The Independent, scarcely, in any sense, an example of conservative media, as we have shown in the recent past.

But its report, TODAY, tells of two pigs in the UK, newly convicted ISIS vermin.

    ———-

    kissing_pigs

Jurors at the Old Bailey were not told that Hassane, the ringleader of the plot who went by the nickname The Surgeon, had links to a west London mosque attended by Mohammed Emwazi, the Isis executioner known as Jihadi John –   http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/two-uk-students-convicted-of-isis-inspired-plot-to-carry-out-drive-by-shootings-in-london-a6948646.html

    OK, got that, Ed?
Or is such breaking news just too new for you to have taken it into account before blurting out your absurd assertion?
If so, and given that one swallow doth not a summer make, I ploughed on…to Madrid, where The Local, in a report about concerned Spaniards protesting Islamist murder gangs.
But embedded therein was this –
In 2014, Spanish officials found that a network of extremists had used the cafeteria of the mosque to recruit jihadists for Isis, before the network was dismantled.
    ……………
    ——–
Okay, that’s just three mosques SPECIFICALLY mentioned in terror reports.
If you check for yourselves, I dare say you could find plenty more. Like that one we’ve noted in Denmark, above.

And here in Jakarta, where I live?

At Least 8 Mosques Used as Bases for Spreading ISIS …

Ed Husain should retract his nonsense.

Of course there are good Muslim clerics, like that fine fellow in Oxford. ‘An Archaic Tribal Rag’ – Wise UK Muslim Imam Says ‘Ban the Burqa!’

And good Muslims who deserve all honour and praise for their positive input, like Canada’s Tarek Fateh – First of all, he must renounce jihad and the application of jihad and sharia law.”  .

Migrant Muslim Ban? How to Allay ‘Islamophobia!’

I read a week or two ago that Slovakia, a small country located in the very heart of Europe, is reportedly prepared to accept 200 ‘migrants,’ but only Christians. Since then, Finns have expressed similar noises.

Today, Australia’s Foreign Minister Julie Bishop was almost instantly subjected to whines about ‘discrimination’ after she dclared ‘a focus on assisting those persecuted ethnic and religious minorities who will have no home to return to when the conflict is over.

“So that includes Maronites, it includes Yazidis, there are Druze.”

Discrimination in favour of those most at risk is just plain good sense, and common decency. Christians and Yazidis have been evilly tormented by the Islamist rape-gang ISIS and deserve our sympathy.

    •

    • But we need to be forthright on the issue of ‘Islamophobia,’ a bogus word conjured up by the likes of CAIR, whose character we should all understand by now.

    Let’s listen to the Slovaks.

Bratislava officials claim Muslim refugees wouldn’t feel at home because the country has such a tiny Islamic population. Daily Mail Online.

I frankly find it unlikely that a lack of suitable places of worship is the real reason behind this policy. Muslims, after all, can and do pray anywhere.

Considerate Muslims, like my former colleague in London, find unobtrusive locations, like a small room in the office complex, whilst less considerate ones obstruct the public footway en masse, even highways, thus contributing to ‘Islamophobia.’. https://rossrightangle.wordpress.com/2011/08/04/jakarta-top-cop-slams-traff-islamic-jams/

    ============

    • slovakia
    • ======================
    • So I’d say this attitude on the part of the Slovaks is actually down to the failure of most clerics in Europe to do what I have often suggested as the best antidote to anti-Islamic feeling, namely use their pulpits to denounce several unacceptable attitudes rightly or wrongly imputed to Muslims.
    • birminghamosque mosque in England

First, at every Friday prayer session, all good clerics should begin their sermon with a clear-cut assertion that Muslims in the UK (or any country) may not elevate any imagined empathy with Muslims abroad either above, or on a par with, loyalty to Queen and Country.

    • Any such supranational allegiance is an affront and if held, should be cause for detention pending deportation.
    • ================
    • .

Secondly, the sermons should decree that, under no circumstances, should anyone in their audience think, never mind act, violently towards ‘apostates’ or ‘blasphemers.’

    Behead-Prophet

People in those categories are not bad. They simply hold different views about how to worship or not worship. Some ‘blasphemers’ may be rude, but in those cases, in a civilised country, civilised people do not behave like the rabid morons in the above photo. They ignore what might offend, or write a critical letter to their favourite newspaper.

    ————————-

Third, again at least once a week, it should be explained that polygamy is for primitives. Civilised people should not, and, where it’s illegal, may not, engage in multi-spouse relationships.

    =

    polygamy a backward polygamous brute

    =

Again, anyone who feels strongly, once a citizen, may propose to change the law, but of course only on the basis of sex equality, any reform conferring the right to more than one legal bed-mate to both men and women.

    ===========

Thirdly, on the same theme, responsible clerics should powerfully aver that men and women are not to be iniquitously treated. Already, in the UK, and elsewhere, we have heard rational Muslim input on this.

‘An Archaic Tribal Rag’ – Wise UK Muslim Imam Says ‘Ban the Burqa!’

It’s on the BBC! Bag-Head Bans Do Not Infringe Religious Liberty!

Fiery Islamists – ‘Head-Scarves NOT a Big Issue!’

If women are told to shroud their heads, men also should be instructed accordingly!

    ==========

Clerics should moreover speak out against any demand by fanatics to be above the law, and this is a topical matter, given what I read in the UK media last week, about certain people saying they should be excluded from the attentions of sniffer dogs.

POLICE sniffer dogs trained to spot terrorists at railway stations may no longer come into contact with Muslim passengers – after complaints that it is against the suspects’ religion.

     ————————————————
    Sniffer dogs could be banned
A report for the Transport Department has raised the prospect that the animals should only touch passengers’ luggage because it is considered “more acceptable.”   http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/50071/Sniffer-dogs-offend-Muslims

There’s no excuse for permitting the infantile notion of ‘cultural sensitivity’ to trump public safety.

    ———————–

I honestly believe regular repetition of all the above in every house of worship (Muslim or otherwise ) would reassure host nations immensely.

Most, if not all, Western countries practise religious liberty. Decent Muslims can practise their religion happily, and fit in well, like these Ahmadiyah in the UK.

    ——————

    • royal_wedding_ahmadiyya
    • —————
    • It’s when attempts are made to exalt alien and obnoxious customs – multicult – that trouble starts. Sane Muslims know this, and have said so, admirable Muslims like Tarek Fateh in Canada.

Even here in 90% Muslim Indonesia, only a malignant minority would go along with that fanatic to whom I often refer.

You cannot be faulted in your list of faults that need to be corrected by these people but do you honestly think any sermons along the lines you suggest would be done without a very visible tongue in cheek, “nudge-nudge, wink-wink, just fulfilling kafir commands, you know what the real message is?”

All the evidence we have seen and heard in Australia, from the top ‘establishment’ Islamic authorities down to the lowest Lakemba levels of jihadism, has shown us that they automatically object to Australia fighting against any Muslim country/army/organisation.
They DO put their ‘sectarian allegiance,’ as you correctly describe it, before loyalty to the country they claim to be part of.

I’m sure there are honourable Muslims in Australia whose first duty is to Australia, but they don’t seem to rise high in the groups that speak for their communitiy.

Canada Slandered – Callous Arabs and Turks Go Un-Condemned!

What a pleasant lazy Saturday, a wander to my warteg for brunch – big plate of good Indonesian food, plus a take-away bag for my midnight snack, total bill under Rp.30K – then home, to sunbathe out front, reading a good magazine (more of that in my Sunday blogging!)

    • Then a cheery visitor, who cooked me an arvo meal, then left just a while ago, me settled down to enjoy The Listener, that interesting Canadian crime drama, set in a Toronto I barely recognise as the city I was more familiar with back when one flew in and out via Maltom Airport.

They renamed it for Lester Pearson – had it been changed in honour of John Diefenbaker, I’d have been better pleased.

    • Pearson was called out by my not-too-distant cousin ( by marriage) J. Waldo Monteith MP, during the Flag Debate, when he told Pearson ‘You must be nuts!‘  for suggesting Conservatives abandon the beloved Red Ensign!

    • Which brings me to the way Canada has been slandered in the hue and cry by pro-crimmigrant propagandists, the very dirty campaign against Harper and his Immigration Minister Chris Alexander.
    • How many cheap-jack hacks have accused Canada of some kind of blame for the child drowned while his family were engaged in illegal activity off the Turkish coast?

    The reality?

In the words of the boy’s aunt in Vancouver, the treatment of her family in Turkey was “horrible.”

    ==========================================================================

Instead of targeting the most visible and apparent villains in this drama — the Assad regime in Syria, the Turks, ISIS, Saudi Arabia and Qatar — the Liberals and the NDP sharpened their knives and went after Alexander

So how much lower than a snake’s belly can Canada’s Liberals and NDP socialists sink?

The true story is brilliantly told by the kind of Muslim migrant every country needs, Tarek Fateh, a true Canadian patriot I’ve praised before and no doubt will again.

A Muslim Voice of Reason – Khadr May Return, IF………!!!!

    ===================

Tarek tells it like it is. He disposes, lucidly, of the appeasement nonsense and slanderous trash-talk from Turdo and the socialist Mulcair, echoed by the disgraceful Mayor of Calgary, a noisy shrill named Nenshi,  Nenshi lashes out at Chris Alexander on refugee crisis  designed to score political points in the on-going Federal election campaign there. Tarek lets Canadian Kurds speak for themselves, with Hadi Elis, of the Kurdish Community Centre of Toronto laying it on the line.

“If there is anyone who is guilty of this crime, it is Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar…all those who have refused to embrace hundreds of thousands of refugees fleeing war, not Minister Chris Alexander who needs no lectures on compassion by politicians who are catering to the Islamists inside Canada.”

This is not just one man’s opinion. The oil-rich ratbag realms have been shown up even by the leftist Amensty International – the five Gulf countries—Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain—“have offered zero resettlement places to Syrian refugees.”    http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/09/04/the-middle-east-needs-to-take-care-of-its-own-refugees.html

    ——-

Tarek notes how Turkey prefers to dump them in the sea and hope bleeding-heart, guilt-ridden liberal Europeans embrace them and pay for their resettlement.

    • Cameron and Erdogan (1) Erdogan
    • ————–

Tarek then describes the obvious solution to the situation that has been allowed to develop in the Middle East.

Strictly from a management perspective and common sense, Saudi Arabia has the land, the resources and lies in the vicinity of the crisis. The refugees and the Saudis speak the same language and settlement and integration could happen sooner and at a fraction of the cost.

But it’s far easier to call for the head of Chris Alexander than to be honest and admit the villain in the drama is Saudi Arabia and criticising the Saudis might upset the Islamist vote bank both the Liberals and the NDP covet.
