Denmark’s ‘Crimmigrant Jewels’ Law – Working Well?

The Leftal, sorry, The Local, seems almost to be gloating when it claims that no jewellery has been confiscated from so-called ‘refugees’ since the law was overwhelmingly passed three years ago, to a chorus of pro-crimmigrant disapproval.

It got such great support because, obviously, there is no reason why aliens should get to soak up Danish welfare benefits if they’re loaded.

Far from saying that it was a waste of legislation because there’s been no big haul of alien gems, it seems to me that any treasure toted by ‘refugees’ has likely been left with kin or comrades in Germany…

Inger is usually a very smart lady, which is why I’m surprised she doesn’t want to take up the eminently sensible suggestion from the Danish People’s Party, whose immigration spokesman, Martin Henriksen, put forward recently.

The DPP want ‘the law to go further by checking whether asylum seekers have money in foreign bank accounts.’

    https://www.thelocal.dk/20190124/three-years-after-denmarks-infamous-jewellery-law-hit-world-headlines-not-a-single-piece-has-been-confiscated

Even the Social Democrat spokesman is all for that, and said something commendable.

“I think it’s completely logical, regarding valuables worth over 10,000 kroner, that this should apply whether they are in your back pocket or in a German bank account,” .

But Inger disagrees. She thinks it isn’t ‘realistic.’

    How so?

Don’t all European police forces cooperate in examination of suspicious bank accounts, regardless of borders, if there’s reason to believe the account-holders are up to no good?

Forges les Bains – Vive La Resistance! …

This week, we commemorate the anniversary – October 14th, 1066  – of the Battle of Hastings, which was basically a French conquest of England.

    —————

    Hastings Harold interfectus

    000000

I don’t suppose the defeated Saxons welcomed Duke William’s Norman intruders into their towns and villages.

Nor is it the least surprising that today’s French villagers don’t want bands of military-age aliens foisted on them.

But trust The Local aka The Leftal, to publish a pinko rant aimed at those villagers, absurd drivel by a pro-crimmigrant clown who prudently does not identify him or her self.

    Here’s how it starts.

Fear of migrants, in particular groups of single men, means locals in villages around France are not ready to offer the kind of fraternity the country has built its history on.

    France’s history?

    Joan-of-Arc-in-Battle

I don’t think Joan of Arc is celebrated for her ‘fraternity’ to uninvited English aliens!

    nazi-eu-hitler

Nor was there any notable ‘fraternity’ offered to uninvited German garrisons after the Fall of France.

    ——-

In a small place called Forges les Bains, The Leftal almost tearfully reports, 44 Afghan men received a frosty reception on their arrival last week to a disused hospital transformed into a migrant shelter.

Why would this detachment of adult male Afghans not be warmly embraced?

Should they not, indeed, be hailed as heroes?

     Duuh, NO!

They are in France, are they not, instead of taking up arms against the Islamist savages of the Taliban?

There are other reasons why French villagers might regard these Calais crimmigrant transplants with no little circumspection.

Far-Right? Lefty Rag Gets Lefty Prof To Justify Smear!

At last The Leftal has taken up the gauntlet which we here have cast down at their feet – not just them, of course, but many other left-liberal media – on the use of the term ‘far-right’ to describe patriot parties.

In this case it’s the AfD in Germany, and it seems ‘many readers’ have raised questions about the pejorative smear.

    Hasil gambar untuk The Local

The AfD has been dubbed “far-right” over the past year as it has taken on a tougher stance against immigration and made gains in state elections. But at what point does one call a group far-right?Is it fair to call the AfD far right?

    ———-

So to justify their insult, The Local turned to an impartial umpire…NOT!

    ———

    Cas Mudde Portrait.jpg

    ————

“Yes, I think the AfD is part of the far-right,” Cas Mudde, associate professor at the University of Georgia, and researcher at Oslo University’s Centre for Research on Extremism, told us.

    —————

This large Dutchman is hardly a disinterested observer. Though he has a rightwing brother, he’s made it clear that he himself is NOT! In one of his books, he thanks him for the respect they still have for each other despite “differences of opinion”

For a still better measure of our Mr. Mudde’s pinkoism, we have the fact that he found it ‘staggering’ when 85% of Europeans surveyed on crime expressed the perfectly rational view that “nowadays there is too much tolerance. Criminals should be punished more severely.”

    http://www.eurozine.com/articles/2010-08-31-mudde-en.html

To whom would self-evident truth be ‘staggering,’ except to a left-liberal?

The Leftal does quote a University of Rostock political scientist Christian Nestler who takes a mildly different stance. viz. far-right is too general a term and he would classify the AfD as right-wing populists, adding that members of the party were indeed right-wing extremists.

But The Local  will without doubt embrace the Mudde Doctrine, and can be expected to continue with its fallacious ‘far-right’ smear campaign…

    ———

But the abject failure of The Local/Leftal ever to describe either the Greens – True Colours? Europhiliac Trio Honour Dear Red!  —

…or the Red Die Linke (Left Party) as ‘far-left’  –One of Ulbricht’s Heirs, Complicit in Crimmigration!   – which they clearly are – will continue!

What you say, Ross, about the media failing to ID openly far left factions like Die Linke and the Greens as far left while they happily slap a ‘far right’ label on every patriotic party, is perfectly fair comment. It shows their bias.
But it would have been better if you had told us what kind of party you think really would deserve a ‘far right” tag.
      There must be some?

Good morning, Louis, and to Pat who asked the question first.
I would say that the term ‘far right’ might apply to a party that calls for a return to absolute monarchy, or for an anti-communist military dictatorship.
Patriotic parties that support democracy, like the AfD or the FPO, and wish to use democratic means, like referenda, to achieve patriotic objectives, like deliverance from supranational control, expulsion of illegal immigrants, etc., can be classified as right-wing, hardly far right.
I think the slapdash use of ‘far right’ we see these days in The Local and other media is clearly unacceptable, although it would be less objectionable if balanced by an equivalent ‘far left’ categorisation of those ‘Greens’ and parties like ‘The Left’ in Germany. We have recorded how often some German politicians have made it clear they are not committed to democratic views except insofar as it suits their agenda. That’s the real scandal of extremism in European politics at the moment.

A Tale of Islamophobia…Or Islamist Intimidation?

Death threats force Muslim woman into hiding

Okay, what do you expect on reading a headline like that?

Some bescarfed victim of Islamophobes, hounded by wicked ‘racists?’ (which is how many imbecile journos characterise anti-Islamic campaigners even though they know full well that Muslims are no more a race than Christians are!)

Well, I read The Local’s report on these events in Sweden, and, having done so, I’m none the wiser.

    ————-

    islamophobia-21

    lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

So it’s NOT Islamophobes who are the villains?

Ms. Walaa has claimed that she has been harassed by both men and women in the town for “not living in the right way.”

So we’re left to read between the lines. What kind of men and women have harassed her?

What kind of people harass harmless girls?

Ordinary Swedes? Seems unlikely. Swedes are civilised. Civilised people don’t tend to do that kind of thing. Or was it the sort of pig-ignorant primitives who treat women as second-class citizens, who demand they go about shrouded?

    Not living the right way?’

Has she been behaving like a normal woman, rather one of those shariah-subjugated drabs? Has she been enjoying the occasional visit to the local pub? Going to discos?

Has she actually dared to think for herself?

Not a mention of what attracted such awful animosity from unidentified asses!

And no clarification why she was hit in the face by a young man who had been harassing her over a long period?

    ——————————–

    • c7f1d-day11-evildead2

Turns out the assault was reported to the cops,  but the said ‘young man’ was questioned and since released, although he remains under suspicion with enquiries continuing.

Disdain The Local’s Bias – Don’t Let Crooked Clinton Win By Default!

Having zoomed around several time-zones twice this month, and also the month before, I am still slightly tired. It upsets one’s equilibrium no end.

SO last night I pondered staying up very late, till 4 am Jakarta time, or setting my alarm, because who wants to miss the BIG debate?

    lazy-sloth-14384269

    • In the end, I gave up, deciding to watch whatever highlights might be available when I surfaced. A wise decision, as I’d miscalculated – not 4 am Jakarta-time, after all.

So here I am, up at 7 am, and The Donald is due to clash with Crooked in half an hour.

We shall see how it goes. But first, a look at The Leftal, as I refer to The Local, which has provided an American leftist with a bully pulpit to beat their biased drum for the most dangerous woman in North America.

I’d have said in the world, but Mama Stasi has the edge, I’d say, though Boisterous Bill’s missus could out-do Merkel, if by some nightmare chance she makes it into the White House.

A load of bollocks, one has to say, is what the self-styled ‘British-American’ Laura Shields offers, with throw-away lines like –

Do I think it’s ok that there are people who genuinely think that there was no racism in America before Obama?

    ————–

    • obama-trayvon

    ———

Who the HELL ever said that?

What most people reckon is that Obama’s overt racism has enflamed race relations in the USA, his grotesque reference to the late juvenile delinquent Trayvon Martin as someone who might have been the son he never had, while displaying indifference to the  victims of his beloved illegal immigrants’ crimes, which include rape and murder.

But Laura is honest enough to admit she’s a bigwig in Democrats Abroad, so that’s what we must expect.

What is amazing is that The Local seems not to have bothered to try at all for balance, no corresponding article urging overseas Americans to register to vote for Trump.

Maybe The Local will seek out a dissenting voice – but I won’t be holding my breath!

So now the debate is starting, and I’ll finish off for now, with an exhortation, to the numerous American patriots living around the world who read my blog, to register and vote..

‘The Leftal’ – Pro-Crimmigrant Bias Against Danes!

A number of readers have asked me to justify my criticism recently…

     https://rossrightangle.wordpress.com/2016/08/29/media-bias-the-local-versus-france/

…of one part of the European media, namely ‘The Local.’

That wasn’t the first time it’s merited my attention.

London’s Collaborateur Rally – ‘Ashamed To Be British?’

They argued that only one or two instances of bias don’t deserve my harsh condemnation. So I decided to flick back and see what else they’ve done that indicates a slanted approach to the news.

Here’s the first sentence from a report in the Danish edition of ‘The Local,’ earlier this summer

That’s the wise piece of legislation passed as the Danes faced a horde of alien parasites marching north across the German border.
    Flag_map_of_Denmark_(1864-1920)
It authorised Danish police to confiscate assets from wannabe welfare bums – a description which certainly fits many of the so-called ‘refugee’ rabble invited to invade Germany by Mama Stasi…
    ———-
    raperefs
    ——————
… who, ever since the tsunami built up, has been demanding other, more sensible governments take a ‘quota’ of the albatrosses she hung round Germany’s neck.
    ooooooo
It was indeed much discussed, but there were few signs that normal Danish people disagreed with the parliamentary majority that approved what came to be called the ‘jewellery law.’ Most normal folk would agree it makes good sense.
Besides it has hardly been used at all, and that’s curious. Then last week Copenhagen Police caught five people trying to enter the country on falsified documents.
Five Iranians were nabbed at the airport and placed in detention for using fake documents.

Since the gang had a small fortune about their persons –  129,000 kroner – police used the ‘jewellery law’ provision to confiscate dollars and euros amounting to a total of 79,600 kroner.
    ——————-
    Nothing amiss about that.
    Caught, arrested, proper procedure applied…
    000
    congratters
    —-
…but NOW get the headline that topped the story.
    —————————————————-

    Infamous?

In what imaginable way is a sensible, popular law, passed constitutionally, in a parliamentary democracy INFAMOUS?’

Headlines are not usually created by the journos who write the story. Headlines are the job of editorial staff.

The pro-crimmigrant slob who plastered that biased drivel across the top of the article should be identified and dismissed.

    But that’s unlikely.

Bias is par for the course with the leftist Local.

Media Bias – ‘The Local’ Versus France!

     ————————

The burqini bans in around 30 towns in France have left spectators outraged, confused, angry, and disappointed.
    Au contraire, mes amis.
We’ve already reported ( as has The Local) that 64% of French people support the ban. From that, I’d guess that most angry, disappointed etc feelings are more likely to be a response to the Council of State’s suspension of the ban.
But The Local, determined to disprove the poll, it seems, sent a reporter to the Paris ‘beaches’ by the Seine to carry out its own little survey – how little, we don’t know; they don’t tell us how many people they talked to.
But somehow they refuted the national poll -hostility to the ban was a popular sentiment among those at the temporary beach – http://www.thelocal.fr/20160825/what-do-parisians-think-of-frances-burqini-bans
Yet the interviewer had to record dissent too, including this from Besma, a banker, a Muslim woman, one of those who has actually shaken off alien culture.

“My own mother wore a headscarf but she would have never considered a burqini or a burqa. I have read the Quran and it is written nowhere that women must cover themselves up in all black as if they are in mourning.”

And a French man provided us with a useful modern history lesson.
Jean-Paul, a fast-food stand owner, said that the burqini represented a “regression in Islam –  If you look at pictures of women in Muslim countries such as Algeria from the 1960s, you see them wearing bikinis and swimsuits,” he said.
    ——-
Very true, and not just Algeria.
We have covered ( uncovered?!) those halcyon days in previous posts.
    ………
    1960s Egypt Color
And here below is a happy young lady in Iran, when that now wretched land was free.
One wonders, sadly, where she is now? A granny, yes, perhaps, but looking at her grandchildren and mourning the freedom they have lost?
Or worse, observing how they’ve been indoctrinated into the backward burkini mind-set?
    ooooooooooooooooo-
    iran_70s_18
But the Parisian dissenters, it seems, were a minority among the dozen (?) or so The Local met. Impressionistic data, at best, or maybe Paris is as unrepresentative of France as London is of Britain.

Overall The Local ‘Paris poll’ seems to be an effort to echo the previous week’s piece…

‘Burqini bans will only divide France more’

    liberal-media-bias

How true, those words spoken by the blonde lady in our oft-used picture!

    ———-

I had been planning to post last week but happily I held off, on how it beats me why The Local calls itself The Local – The Leftal might be better/

It uses a prejudicial assertion as a headline to reflect its own slant towards alien intrusion into local life on France’s beaches. Sure, the quotation marks indicate it is a mere assertion, by one of the ‘experts’ the editors have clearly been trawling for.

But there’s no fair selection of ‘experts’ from both sides of the debate, no ‘experts’ at all from the patriot side, only the sort whom left-libs adore, a ‘sociologist and Islam expert,’ and a ‘sociologist and filmmaker.’

    ooooooooooooooooooo

    experts

    idiot

    —-

Who the hell defines these sorts as ‘experts‘ at all?

And are there REALLY no ‘experts’ to be found who might take the opposite view?

As yet another town in France moves to ban the burqini, experts argue that such decisions will actually worsen France’s relationship with Islam.
    ——-
On and on it goes, leftist hogwash on free-flow.
The ‘film-maker‘ rants that the burkini bints will “become fed up with all the noise in the French news, the obsession with Islam in the French media.”
More appropriate, surely, if they got fed up with the noise of Salafists spitting hate for all the French civic virtues.

More helpful, too, if they abandoned their obsession with alien shariah dress-codes and learned to live in France and look like Frenchwomen!
    00000000000000000
BTW, I was once told to take my trousers off among a crowd of sunbathers because it was inappropriate to be so clothed on a public beach!
That was in Tangier, in Muslim Morocco, by a gun-toting Muslim cop. I obliged. He moved on, checking that all those by the sea were in proper swimsuits.
Fortunately I had my swimmers on underneath, and had only just sat down, having carefully chosen the most pleasing area, that with as many bikini-clad forms as could be spotted.
    …..
    batik-_string-bikini-_bottom
    ……..
I fear Morocco has changed since those days.

Is Morocco Bound To Catch the Market Morons?

But today’s question must be – will The Local change?

Change editors, change from a pro-crimmigrant apologist rag to the useful publication it could so easily be? ,

A funny story, your adventure in Morocco, but this is not one of your better efforts, Ross. You use a scatter-gun approach, far too much a broad-brush and if I may say, a slap-dash, attack on what should be an easy target, the Islamists in France.
Instead, you take aim at The Local.?
I understand perfectly how much you dislike these ‘experts’ and I agree, they usually are know-nothings with an axe to grind, but if you look at The Local over a period of six months or a year, are there really that many examples of bias? ,
