Until this pandemic, I spent a lot of time in both the UK and North America, and talked with a lot of people in Britain and the USA. We shared concerns about politicized police..
Los Angeles was one problem city and the other was London.
So when I heard the mainstream media story today, I remembered Basu was a bad apple.
I still had to go back through your blog to refresh my memory of what exactly he had done before.
Most people probably are like me, so much news that you forget 70% of it within a week, so thanks for reminding us.
I hope he was given a warning then not to abuse his position again.
If so, he will be looking for a new job next week.

That is until I started rattling some cages. I was then contacted by the event organiser and by many of those who thought that their lives were in danger. The police are now reviewing the evidence…, but it highlights that you can shut down debate, assault members of the public, illegally enter a building, and as far as Sussex Police is concerned, you will not get arrested

It’s disappointing that Sussex Police lack any interest in making arrests when Antifa thugs run riot.
I’m glad I don’t live in their area. Criminals there must be very comfortable in such an environment.
Or is it only the extreme left that gets the ‘hands-off’ treatment?
