Oh Well, That’s It, Then! Gotta Be Labour!

Any UK voters still to make up their minds with just a dozen and a few more days to go until the General Election must have been grateful for that letter in The Guardian this week.

It makes dilemmas so much simpler to resolve when the distilled wisdom of one’s community is represented in irrefutable form.

We are musicians, artists, rappers and grime MCs, and we will be voting for Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour party this election.

Any momentary hesitation about following such erudite examples must have melted away, like snow off the proverbial dry-stone-wall in a Cumbrian springtime…

    ‘Musicians?’

    Musicians?’

How come these cacophonists are not immediately called out by the many British people who still understand the correct meaning of the word ‘music?’

BTW, has nobody else wondered about the increasing infantilisation of British life, with thousands voting to name an important ship ‘Boatie McBoatface..

If any voters are influenced by this Guardian ‘epistle’ then I pity them.
I like classical music ( and the Eurythmics! ) but if any famous conductors or any member of any band were so presumptuous as to think their political opinions might influence my vote, I would laugh in their faces, and very possibly say something very rude, like ‘who do you think you are!’

I do share your views on the use of baby-talk by adults.
It’s quite acceptable when talking to babies, but people who feel they have to use it in grown-up discourse are suitable subjects for a psychologists’ seminar.

Rap, hip-hop, and whatever ‘grime’ might be.
It’s an insult to music to include such talentless noise in any discussion of music.
I tried to watch some of the videos in which that kind of ‘bands’ perform and it was a repulsive experience.
Badly-dressed males clutching at their groins as if the noises they were making was the result of pain enanating from that area ot theit bodies.

If Farage Failed You As A Leave Voter…UKIP Is Still Around!

The information below was actually submitted as a comment but I hope the commenter will not be upset if I give it some prominence!

Nigel Farage has been a great disappointment.

    .

    Nigel Farage,

At a stroke he denied millions of a chance to vote against The Fop’s Fake Brexit, leaving patriots in some constituencies with horrendous options, such as the seat where they must choose May’s Tory Liar Damien Green, or a Corbynite Remainer, or a LibDem Remainer!

If I lived there, or any similar area, I would walk down to my polling station, spoil my ballot paper, then get myself to the nearest constituency where a Clean-Break candidate was on offer, to help him or her as best I could.

    .

    .

And it’s very likely that person might be a standard-bearer for UKIP!

    Here they are –

C’mon, ‘Metropolitan Progressives!’ Practise What You Preach!

Britain should take 50,000 more Syrian refugees…

So says the Liberal Democrat leader, Tim Farron, in The Guardian – where else? – and if he manages to get even 50 MPs ( which one hopes can be prevented, as outlined in our previous post today… .

    Update for Brexit Tactical Voters!

…when British votes are counted) that’s just a thousand each they should be asked to accommodate under their own roofs, instead of putting them up in publicly funded housing, paid for by honest working Brits, at a cost…

    ..

    ..

….by the LibDems’ own estimate, of over FOUR BILLION POUNDS!

But surely they will not be left to carry this burden alone?

The Guardian assures us that the pledge is also a clear sign that his party is refocusing its election efforts on Labour voters, particularly metropolitan progressives.

    https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/may/11/tim-farron-lib-dems-pledge-uk-take-50000-more-syrian-refugees

    ‘metropolitan progressive?’

Every one of those parasitical beings must have a house – and ‘metropolitan progressives’ usually have much plusher residences than people who have real jobs. Academics, social work directors, trades union bureaucrats and ‘community activists’ should be lining up to shoulder their globalisational responsibilities.

So why don’t the LibDems, so eager to appeal to the pampered metropolitan dregs for their votes, not first appeal to ‘metroprogs’ for offers to accommodate the intended alien imports?

Maybe because, as a rule, even metroprogs can read, and the offers might be slow in coming if they have read this week’s news…

    Or the year before?

There are plenty more examples of so-called ‘refugees’ – from Syria and elsewhere – who should NEVER have been allowed into civilised countries, They were not detained on arrival for serious vetting but allowed at once to prowl the streets!
