If anything exposes the rot at the top of the BBC, it’s this quote from the media –

BBC Breakfast presenters Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty have been “spoken to and reminded of their responsibilities” after complaints about their reaction to a government minister’s flag.

I know what decent Brits should have said to them, after the disloyal UK Pravda scumbags were seen sneering at their nation’s flag.

Stayt is clearly just an inadequate, but Murchetty has long been seen by patriotic Brits as a menace…

Apart from family events, it’s fair to say I haven’t felt so full of hope and glory since, a week or so after my finals, I hurried up to the old uni quad and one of my fellow-students who’d beaten me to the ‘results’ board yelled out, “Ross, you got a good one!“

• That too was a sunny morning, though not as warm as my usual Jakarta morns out front. Little did I know, that long-ago day at the alma mater, that I’d end up here in Jakarta.

However, here I am, and so, this fine Friday, I’d like to suggest to His Excellency Moazzam Malik, British Ambassador to Indonesia, that he ought to organise an official party, for every true Brit in town, at the splendid new embassy compound over by Jalan Rasuna Said….

I realise ‘Our Man in Jakarta’ has to wait till whoever in London gets round to pressing the ‘Article 50’ button, but such a ceremony to mark the liberation of the UK would be a most welcome way to spend a Saturday arvo.

I was down Rasuna Said yesterday, a lot of embassies along that busy road, and I noticed the Hungarians and Poles have the horrid Brussels banner flying at the same height as their own proud flags.

That’s the situation at the UK Embassy in Bratislava, replicated offensively around the world

A couple of craven school bosses in California caved in to racist thug students who might turn violent at the sight of their country’s flag!

The pusillanimous pair are Live Oak High School’s Principal Nick Boden and Assistant Principal Miguel Rodriguez, who ordered patriotic teens to turn their flag-themed shirts inside out or remove them.

The Stars and Stripes outlawed due to hoodlum bigotry?

Surely the proper course of action for responsible school administrators, who claimed to be acting out of concern that Mexican students might retaliate with violence, would be to turf out the disloyal louts, not the good kids.  

The real American students went to court, but lost. Now their lawyers are hoping the Supreme Court will take the case and defend decent Americans from intimidation.
