And just in case any part of the media is brave enough to defy this in-crowd exhortation, Hollande’s threatened leftist establishment adds its own threat against recalcitrant journalists old-fashioned enough to think that the French people deserve to know what they – and Le Retch Hollande  – know!

…noting that the publication of false information could bring penalties.

But there are not many journos still committed to old-fashioned honesty.

This outrageous argument for suppression of information, for keeping electorates in the dark, echoes almost exactly the topsy-turvy amorality of the left-liberals in America, who went ballistic over the leaks which exposed shameless malpractice among leading Democrats.

Rather than disown the dirty tricks of their comrades, the dirty American media began a rant (still on-going) against those who did democracy a favour – the ‘hackers!’

Thankfully, enough voters in key states saw through this subversive strategy, paid careful attention to the revelations of nasty anti-democratic manoeuvring, and handed Trump a well-earned win.

They are of course all left-liberal sources, but I suspect much of the rest are similar in their focus on the ‘hacking’ and not on the content, its accuracy or otherwise, which SHOULD be key concern for French voters.

According to the BBC, Muppet Macron’s campaign said the documents showed only legitimate campaign activities.

So what’s all the fuss about?

There’s the UK Foreign Office skivvy, Sarah Tisdall, and the ‘WikiLeaks’ phenomenon, the pro-transparency site edited by Julian Assange, famed for publishing classified information, originates from Australia.

Today I’m moved to ponder the need for greater efforts by good people to expose hidden scandals, after reading the Australian news, viz.

Privacy laws prevented it saying which one, but 7News has learned it raises over $250,000 a year.

If a single cent of any such money ends up with ISIS, or Al Qaeda, or any other satanic terror gang, then it’s no bloody good that the Charities regulator’s advice is to keep giving, but just be careful who you give to.

Best give to none at all, to be certain, and that’s pretty poor advice.  What about parliamentary privilege? \

Do Aussie MPs and Senators enjoy the same immunity from legal action when speaking in their legislative chambers?
