Yahoo? Oath? Actually, It’s Clinton Fund-Raiser Verizon!

How many readers share my extreme exasperation with this hyper-pushy crowd calling themselves ‘Oath,’ who have allegedly taken over Yahoo?

    Gambar terkait

I had hoped any change of management might have seen a lessening of the harassment meted out to Yahoo users, the sort of coercion used to force us out of the good Classic into their new and tiresome version…

Boo, Boo, Yahoo! Annoyingly Intrusive…AND Subversive?..

….which nobody wanted except that daft bint Marisa Mayer, whom we criticised at the time.

But ‘Oath’ is no better, a constant barrage of jackboot demands…

By choosing “I accept” below, you agree to Oath’s new Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

    samples –

…we may temporarily or permanently suspend or terminate your account or impose limits on or restrict your access to parts or all of the Services at any time, without notice and for any reason…

…if your account is terminated, access to your username, password, and all related information, files, and content associated with your account may be terminated and your username may be recycled for use by others

Like, who the hell do these corporate creeps think they’re talking to, as if they’re The Lords of Creation and we are mere serfs?

Hasil gambar untuk say no to verizon

And we need to take all that in conjunction with what we know of them…

    https://www.equities.com/news/verizon-oath-sued-for-major-yahoo-data-breach

…if we are prepared to take the time and trouble to look for relevant information!

And don’t for a minute forget that ‘Oath’ is a Verizon company, and that Verizon is notorious for its far-left allegiances.

    =

    ===========

The Hillary Clinton campaign, meanwhile, has received tens of thousands of dollars from Verizon executives and lobbyists. That’s not all. For a May 2013 speech, the corporation paid Clinton a whopping $225,000 honorarium, according to her tax records

Verizon has also given between $100,000 and $250,000 to the Clinton Foundation, which investigative journalist Ken Silverstein has referred to as a “so-called charitable enterprise [that] has served as a vehicle to launder money and to enrich family friends.”

And if you need to be reminded of just what sort of  things we’re talking about here, go back and watch…

In view of all the fuss these days about Facebook and the rest, you’d think Verizon would keep this kind of intimidation at least low-key, but ‘Oath’ are downright arrogant in their relentless, intrusive, nasty nagging.

I can’t say how many times they’ve interrupted me when I open my email.

    But it’s been a lot.

So what can we do? Obviously, don’t have any dealings with those who advertise on Yahoo.

Why fatten the wallets of the rich leftists who make so much money from Verizon…

    =

    =

….that they can afford to lash out fortunes to help the supportive spouse of an infamous sex-predator?

    But as to our emailing?

I don’t know  – so I welcome any input from other Yahoo users.

You probably accepted terms much like those when you signed up to use Yahoo. But if you have been using it for years you will have forgotten, as I have.
I agree with you that Oath’s tactics are intrusive and very annoying and that Verizon is hopelessly devoted to some very bad people but I can’t offer any useful advice.
We who are non-left will have to find technology resources not connected to the Silicon slime-bucket, but that’s beyond my area of expertise.

All well worth reading. Good work bringing it together.
As to what to do, if we all quit Yahoo emailing, that would be effective but if only one or two of us do, than they will carry on regardless.
I feel it’s only in the past few years that we got to understand how oppressive these companies can be, and since they are run by our enemies, its going to turn into a real conflict zone.

I never realized how bad Verizon was.
Now I am more determined than ever to give up Yahoo.
Any suggestions where might be better?

OMG, I must have missed this when you published it and it is a revelation that should be widely made known.

Boo, Boo, Yahoo! Annoyingly Intrusive…AND Subversive?..

Good grief! It’s nearly 10am and here I am just up, pouring the kopi jawa down my throat.

    =

I was relaxing yesterday typing up an email to somebody overseas with whom I like to keep in touch…

    =

    =

…when suddenly my progress was abruptly halted, by a large box appearing on my screen, DEMANDING that I ‘try the new Yahoo experience.’

    =

    =

Having no wish to discontinue an important and agreeable activity, I did try – to remove the arrogant and unsolicited obstruction inserted by Yahoo into my email!

    No joy!

I had to move out of Yahoo and come back. Fortunately my previous paragraphs were saved, but really. Is there no end to this nonsense?

Hard to forget the long struggle Yahoo users put up to keep using the Yahoo Classic format, which was easy to use and pleasing to the eye. We were eventually coerced into uppity Marissa’s preferred boring version.

That’s Marissa Mayer, by the way…

Yahoo’s Contempt for Customers Reaps a Rut!

Now Marissa’s gone  – yet there’s a recrudescence of Yahoo harassment!

Moreover, there is new reason to dislike Yahoo this week, the prominence of a notorious cover-up hack named Michael Isikoff!

    Gambar terkait

    =,

He’s deeply involved in the current ‘memo’ fuss in Washington DC but –  if we are to believe Daniel Greenfield, and I do believe him – Isikoff sat on a major scandal even though he knew all about it!

And I’ve heard this little pinko referred to as an ‘investigative journalist!?!?’

    =

    =

    As Greenfield says –
The only two “sources” 18 are Christopher Steele, who was funded by the Clinton campaign, and a Yahoo News article, that were used to obtain a FISA warrant against a Trump associate.

That Yahoo story came from Michael Isikoff, the reporter who knew about Bill Clinton’s affair with Monica Lewinsky…

    =

    …..

    ….but suppressed it.

It was based on more leaks from Steele which the FBI and DOJ chose to ignore. Steele’s identity was already well known. The only new source revealed is Yahoo News…  The Memo Reveals the Coup against America | Frontpage Mag

And who pays for Yahoo News to employ this leftist?

Advertisers on Yahoo, presumably, who need to be advised of our disapproval.

Greenfield gives an accurate account of Isikoff’s role in the Clinton/Lewinsky affair.
If he had ever had any pretensions to being an ‘investigative reporter,’ that was his chance but he failed to do what any real journalist would have done.
I use Yahoo too, only because all my contacts have that email address and it would be a lot of trouble to change it.
They are very annoying, I agree. ,

United? How About YAHOO’s Wowser Take On Mid-Riffs?

I was planning something of an indolent day today, not so as to be compliant with Hari Nyepi…

…the Balinese Hindu holiday that requires silence for 24 hours, but because basically I have nothing much to do and none of my usual visitors are available to visit.

It may be a national day off – for everyone in Indonesia, not just Balinese Hindus – but if you work in a department store, like one regular caller here…

    =

    Indonesians work hard!

    =

    …no chance!

However, when one’s retired, every day is a holiday!

That, of course, doesn’t excuse me from my obligation to say what I think!

Hence it’s incumbent on me to take United Airlines to task for their downright backward ban on certain types of clothing for certain categories of passenger.

Miniskirts, clothing that “reveals a midriff”, short shorts and “form-fitting lycra/spandex tops, pants and dresses” – such as leggings – are banned.

    How dare they?

But lots of people are talking about United Airlines. It was my search for a suitable photo  – did  well, didn’t I?- that gave me ammunition to renew my long-standing quarrel with Yahoo.

    =

    =

I have never forgiven Yahoo for their arrogant coercion of customers into changing from the good old Classic style to the much less handy thing we have to use now, my resentment not at all assuaged by the huge sum being paid to Marissa Mayer…

Nonetheless, I still use Yahoo, having for years provided all my friends, family, fans and foes with my email address, issued by that company.

But until this week I’d never used their Search Engine to find an illustration for ‘bare mid-riffs.

Google’s is much better and in the end I used them, but not till after my simple Yahoo search for a cute female tummy evoked this bizarre message!.  .

Results for bare mid-riffs may contain adult oriented content. Safe Search must be turned off to display these results..

    What?

Or rather, as I put it over this morning’s multiple coffee infusions…

    ‘What the &#*#!?!?!?’

I duly entered into what I suppose must be defined as their ‘Unsafe Search’ zone and indeed the sights to be seen there are not what one would wish one’s kiddies to view.

Bare bums, bare boobs, not terribly scary for me – but ‘adult content’ for sure.

But WHY bracket them with ‘bare mid-riffs,’ which are not only often highly agreeable, yet in no way offensive…

‘Fathers and husbands, their private parts are your responsibility’

So let’s put Yahoo’s feet to the fire!

Why have they included cute navels in what is, let’s face it, something of a porno section?

Yahoo – A System Run by Imbeciles!

Only a day or two ago, the arrogant cretins who run Yahoo once again forced me to change my password before I could access my own emails.

Marissa Mayer, Yahoo big boss – as they say, could she organise an orgy in a brothel?

This was probably an act of spite, since I had complained at the failure of some mail of mine to be sent when required. It was a link, with some explanatory text added. The cretins blocked it on the grounds there was no text!

There came a reply to my complaint, saying there was no technical problem! It has happened again this week.

    Irresponsible incompetents.

    ————-

    idiot Yahoo tech experts

    ——–

Needless to say, their reply had a ‘no-reply’ address.

These Yahoo morons have absolutely NO concept of customer service, but in the circumstances, I had to change the password as ordered to, a matter of great inconvenience, since it means having to memorise something other than the one I’m used to.

Now, TODAY, the dumb mutts made me go through the same process all over again!

I tried to change it back to the good one I had up till last week!

    NOPE!

    ‘Too similar!’ For whom?

Beside myself with rage and fury, I devised a brand new one, incorporating several of the disparaging words used in this post, along with a gross obscenity.

At least I’ll remember it every time I see the word Yahoo!

Why don’t they take a holiday and grow themselves a brain – or at least some basic common courtesy!
