Toronto School Board Dumps Secular Principles, Crawls to Sharia
Only yesterday, I reminisced fondly about the lovely land in which I spent my boyhood, Canada, the true north strong and free.
One of the nice recollections was elementary schools at Christmastime, singing carols, admiring the tree, and generally being conscious of our collective identity as a British North American Christian culture.
Of course nobody was forced to join in. There may have been an occasional Jew or Chinese Buddhist, but nobody was mean to them. I honestly don’t recall any in my schools, but our little town had a couple of non-Christians, for sure, the proprietors of the Golden Bamboo probably, and the Goldbergs, who owned a store. Minorities were never treated other than well.
Since that Golden Age of real tolerance, of course, Jesus has been firmly expelled from school, along with his Father (even though God managed to sneak past the PC mafia and get into the Canada Act!)
Secular education, apart from the RC schools, is THE priority for our post-Christian establishment. More’s the pity.
But that’s all changing again.
Today I just read in Blazing Catfur – a very good Canadian blog – that Toronto School Board has decided to re-admit religion, not the study of religion, but the practice of religious worship – to its educational outlets.
But not all religions, just one! Guess which one!
Please read this cut n paste and email the offending appeasement academy, and the School Board, and the Ontario Ministry of Education, and your MP and MPP, and raise merry, but secular, hell!
I received this e-mail from Mark Harding. I phoned Valley Park Middle School, who in a panic directed me to call the TDSB directly @ 416-397-3000. The TDSB “Communications Dept.” is so far incommunicado -they are away at a meeting.

“Islamic ritual prayers are done in my 13 year old daughter’s middle school on every Friday.
Every Friday my daughter’s school cafeteria changes into a mosque as dozens of Muslim boys and their imams (Islamic preachers) lead Islamic ritual prayers and no one else can even walk through the cafeteria.
Some imams (Islamic preachers) come from the outside of the school and lead Muslim students in the Islamic prayer and this happens at the school Cafeteria after the lunch on Fridays. All other non-Muslims are in classes in the afternoon when they are using the cafeteria as mosque. There is a mosque nearby but the Muslim kids pray in the school
School administration take part preparing the Cafeteria and making it into mosque every Friday and no one but Muslims can use the Cafeteria during the Islamic prayers on Friday.
And there are a number of other incidents involving Islam and other anti-Christian issues that I complained about, including a white convert to Islam who was a supply teacher and who openly promoted Islam and bashed Christianity last year!”
The school’s name is: Valley Park Middle School, and the address is:
130 Overlea Boulevard
Don Mills On, M3C 1B2
Phone: 416 396 2465
Email: ValleyPark@tdsb.on.ca
“Mark, my other two kids also go to a different public primary school and the snack for all the kids in this primary school is all “Halal”. My wife complained about it and she was told she can prepare her own snack for our kids but the school would not drop the Halal menu for all the students. All the school kids in this primary school have to eat halal snacks whether they are Muslim or not

This seems like a pretty sneaky way to get Islam into Ontario public schools. While I think Ontario should have one public school system with no religion, maybe what we’re going to end up with will still be two systems, one Catholic and one Muslim!
It’s good to know about this kind of thing so we can get together to stop it.

Yes, vojo. The thing is, why are only blogggers breaking this kind of news? Is the press so utterly subservient to PC?

Maybe the press is so frightened of Human Rights Commissions that they are afraid of expressing anything remotely anti-Muslim. Muslims, as you know, are a pretty sensitive bunch, and they would complain to the HRCs without hesitation. So much for freedom of speech in Canada.

It must be fair.
If Muslim can have their prayers in special room in school, so also Christians must be free to have prayer room.
Hindu too…Buddha people? Why not?.

Appeasement. Why isn’t the principal fired and the school board disbanded, if they are on the side of Canada’s enemies?

Lord’s Prayer in the morning, not allowed. Friday sholat, no problem. What is going on in Toronto?

As a Yank, I love Canada and Canadians. But if Canadians don’t just stop this but reverse it and fire the school board, then my respect and admiration for Canadians will drop slightly. What can the justification be for this blatant discrimination? A non Muslim can’t even walk through the cafeteria that was built with my tax money? Just let them try this in my country. The politicians and school board members would be tarred and feathered for starters.

Yes, it is an extremely offensive act of appeasement. Time for real Canadians to fight back!

I regret to say that I have had to renew my drinking water supply, go shopping, feed the cat – now I have to get to work.
Mornings are not my best time of day!
Thus I have had no time to google anyone today!
I’m sure other readers will do so, and a discussion can commence later on.

guys (ladies) please go to check out peter hammond – he says it quite well: just short quote:
“‘Before I was nine I had learned the basic canon of Arab life. It was me against my brother; me and my brother against our father; my family against my cousins and the clan; the clan against the tribe; the tribe against the world, and all of us against the infidel. — Leon Uris, ‘The Haj’
It is important to understand that in some countries, with well under 100% Muslim populations, such as France, the minority Muslim populations live in ghettos, within which they are 100% Muslim, and within which they live by Sharia Law. The national police do not even enter these ghettos. There are no national courts, nor schools, nor non-Muslim religious facilities. In such situations, Muslims do not integrate into the community at large. The children attend madrasses. They learn only the Koran. To even associate with an infidel is a crime punishable with death. Therefore, in some areas of certain nations, Muslim Imams and extremists exercise more power than the national average would indicate.
Today’s 1.5 billion Muslims make up 22% of the world’s population. But their birth rates dwarf the birth rates of Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, and all other believers. Muslims will exceed 50% of the world’s population by the end of this century.
Adapted from Dr. Peter Hammond’s book: Slavery, Terrorism and Islam: The Historical Roots and Contemporary Threat
This is scary. Here is some serious reading for serious thinkers.
Now that you know, what we will do with this knowledge? “

Forget about contacting the school. Permission for prayer at school comes from much higher authority. As for phoning the school board, you won’t get anywhere without knowing exactly who to talk to.
Try this: e mail the route superintendent under whom Valley Park M.S. falls- johanne.messner@tdsb.on.ca . Also e mail the school board trustee- gerri.gershon@tdsb.on.ca .
