Election Post-Mortem 4 – Hey, Bojo, Don’t You Even Know Your Enemy?
“To those who did not vote for us or for me and who wanted or perhaps still want to remain in the EU, we in this one nation Conservative govt. will never ignore your good & positive feelings of warmth & sympathy towards the other nations of Europe..”
For God’s Sake.
When the Europhiliacs repent and clearly proclaim their conversion to the patriot cause, then, if you trust them, forgive them their sin.
Remainers were, are, IN NO WAY sympathetic or warm to other nations. They were Juncker jerks….
..
..
…who detested the very idea of nationhood and remain just as keen to keep ‘the other nations of Europe’ under the EUSSR yoke as they were to betray their own country to the enemy in Brussels.
In contrast…
The people who during, and before, and no doubt for years to come, who have ‘feelings of warmth and sympathy towards the other nations of Europe’ are US!
It’s Brexiteers – the freedom-fighters – who have repeatedly shown sympathy and solidarity with other victim nations, and voiced loud and frequent encouragement…
.
..
…for those ‘other nations’’ facing meddling at best and downright oppression at worst from the Euro-Commissars and collabo regimes like Merkel’s.
This is a Brexit blog and you can check out years of examples galore of what’s been written in support of other nations –

The EU Commissioner for Home Affairs, Cecilia Malmstrom, said she was “very concerned” about Spanish police firing rubber bullets to deter migrants. She added that the actions of any EU state protecting its borders should be “proportionate”, and should respect fundamental rights and human dignity.

Frans Timmermans, the Dutch vice-president of the European Commission, said that “diversity was the future of the world,” and that Eastern European nations would just have to “get used to that.” http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/hungary/11893375/
ooooo
We have also time and again extended goodwill to our true friends in other countries, Salvini in Italy and Marine Le Pen in France – Marine, to whom Theresa the Appeaser offered the iciest of cold shoulders.
The Remainers do not deserve any reconciliation moves on our part.
If Boris wants to bring them on board, he’s a fool or a knave – and we all know he’s no fool!
There should be a cordon sanitaire to isolate and shame them.

We Brexiteers are probably much less ‘anti-Europe’ than anybody else.
The enemy has always been not other nations but the EUSSR, which is our common enemy, meddling in their affairs as much as in ours.
I have always hoped ( and Brussels has always feared ) that the liberation of Britain would be the first of many national liberation struggles.
I still do, but Johnson’s weak deal has not done much to inspire Continental countries to follow us out.

I am inclined to agree with you but take comfort from the fact that marxist thugs in London ran amuck in their fury at the election result.

Johnson has no real principles.
He talked and wrote much that upset the left but when he was Mayor of London he junked all that and as you have recorded accurately he favours amnestying large numbers of illegal immigrants.
The best we can hope from the next few years is that the insane far-left will go even madder and provoke him to stand up for at least a few conservative positions.
I hope at least he will have the guts to refuse the impudent demand for an enquiry into ‘islamophobia’ in his party.
On the other hand, if he gives in to the Islamists, quite a lot of real conservatives.could leave and get a new sensible party off the ground.
It’s early days yet.
Let’s see how it pans out.

There’s an article in the Guardian which, very unusually, makes sense.

The left are as baffled as we are.
Nobody knows what our new PM believes in.
Maybe he himself has no idea!
